UK Government Scholarships:

1). Chevening Scholarships:

Chevening Scholarship is UK government’s global scholarship programme, awarded to outstanding students from Chevening-eligible countries around the world. These awards are usually for a one-year Master’s degree. Most of these scholarships cover the tuition fees, accommodations at a set rate and this is for one person, and also an economy class return airfare to the UK, and additional grants to cover essential expenditure.

Now this is a great offer to jump on, you don’t have to worry about paying tuition and spending much on accommodations plus the additional grants.

2). Scotland Saltire Scholarships:

For this Scholarship, the Scottish Government, in collaboration with Scottish universities, are offering Scholarships to citizens from Canada, China (including Hong Kong), India, Japan, Pakistan and USA to student that wish to study full-time Masters degrees fully delivered in Scottish universities, in  areas like science, technology, creative industries, healthcare and medical sciences, and others. Each award is worth £8000 which is used for tuition fees for the duration of a year of full time study. Amazing right?.

3). Commonwealth Masters Scholarships:

These Scholarships are intended for students from developing Commonwealth countries who wants to pursue Master’s study in the UK. They are funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and each Scholarship provides airfare to and from United Kingdom, tuition and examination fees, personal maintaining allowance, thesis grant(if they are applicable), initial arrival allowance, among others.

4). Gates Cambridge Scholarships:

These are awarded to outstanding applicants from any country outside the UK to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree in any subject of your choice available at the University of Cambridge. 5). Clarendon Scholarships at University of Oxford (UK):

The Clarendon Scholarship Fund offers 140 new scholarships every year to eligible graduate applicants for both national and international students at the University of Oxford. Clarendon Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and potential across all degree-bearing subjects at graduate level at the University. The scholarships cover college fees in full and grants for living expenses.

6). Edinburgh Global Research Scholarships:

The University is willing to offer 30 scholarships to outstanding overseas students who are willing to pursue a PhD Research Programme in any area of study offered by the University. Each of these scholarship covers the difference between the tuition fee for a UK/EU graduate student and that chargeable to an overseas graduate student but it does not cover maintenance expenses.

7). The University of Sussex Chancellor’s International Scholarships:

These scholarships are available in most of the Sussex Schools, and are awarded on the basis of academic performance and potential to international students who have applied for and been offered a place for full-time Postgraduate degrees at the University of Sussex. The scholarship has a 50% discount for international student and is offered for a year.

8). Bristol University Think Big Scholarships:

9). University of West London International Ambassador Scholarships:

If you wish to pursue a full time undergraduate or postgraduate degree at University of West London, apply now as this institution provides financial support for outstanding students. These students will act as international ambassadors for the University. There are about 50 scholarships worth up to £5,000 available.

10). University of West England Chancellor’s Scholarships:

They offer up to £100,000 worth of scholarships for international students each year and it includes the Chancellor’s Scholarship where the recipient will be required to undertake an internship working within the International Development Office and other departments. The scholarship covers the full tuition fees for one academic year.

11). Sheffield Hallam University Transform Together Scholarships:

It is open to international and European Union (non UK) students applying to study a full-time postgraduate or undergraduate course at Sheffield Hallam University. 50% discount is available for undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses for the first year of study.

12). Warwick Chancellor’s International Scholarships:

Here, they award about 42 Chancellor’s International Scholarships to the most outstanding PhD applicants yearly. it is open to international and EU students in any discipline offered at Warwick.  The scholarships include the full payment of overseas tuition fee and a maintenance stipend for beneficiaries.

13). Developing Solutions Scholarships at University of Nottingham:

They are designed for international students from Africa, India or one of the developing countries of the Commonwealth who want to study a Masters Degree at the University of Nottingham. Each year, 105 scholarships are awarded and 30 scholarships will cover the full tuition fee while 75 will cover 50% of the tuition fee.

14). University of Manchester Scholarships:

15). University of Surrey Scholarships:

The University of Surrey has three scholarships available for the 2022-23 academic year, for one student each from these countries; Brunei, China, Nigeria.

All subjects are eligible for a scholarship except for Brunei where the scholarship is for Corporate Environmental Management, Environmental Strategy or Sustainable Development.
