This scholarship was established in honour of by Dr Jeroen Ensink who was an internationally-renowned water engineer and dedicated humanitarian. Following his death in 2015, the LSHTM established the Jeroen Ensink Memorial Fund in his name to support students from sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia who are committed to improving public health in developing countries and wish to undertake the MSc Public Health for Development course.
Jeroen Ensink Memorial Fund Scholarship
This scholarship is available for international students from Asia and Sub Saharan Africa. Jeroen Ensink Memorial Fund Scholarship is open to undertake Masters level programs at London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
The scholarship allows Masters level programmes in the field of Public Health taught at London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
One scholarship will be awarded for MSc Public Health for Development programme and a full scholarship covers full-time overseas tuition fees including the mandatory field trip fee flights from the student’s home country to the United Kingdom, and return on expiry of the scholarship which is to be booked by the Scholarships team in Registry and a living allowance of GBP 17,175.00.
