Bachelor’s students can apply for a scholarship at earliest after their first academic year. The requirement for the first scholarship is Finnish language skills level A2 (CEFR, Basic user). The first scholarship is 4000 €.
After their second academic year the students can apply for the second scholarship (at the earliest). The requirement for the second scholarship is Finnish language skills level B1 (CEFR, Independent User). The second scholarship is 6000 €.
Only National Certificates of Language Proficiency (YKI) is accepted to prove the level of Finnish language skills.

Nursing and Bachelor of Healthcare at VAMK University Finland
This is a unique functionally bilingual Nursing degree programme from Vaasa University of Applied Sciences VAMK which prepares students to work professionally in both English and Finnish. Nursing Studies Discount at Häme University Finland
Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK) offers an early bird discount for first-year nursing students who pay their tuition on time.
A reduction is available for new students who accept their offer and pay the first year’s tuition fee by the specified deadline. Specifically for non-EU/EEA residents enrolled in English-taught programs, such as nursing.
While full scholarships are not provided, non-EU/EEA students pay an annual tuition fee of €9,700 for the bachelor’s program. Citizens of EU/EEA countries or Switzerland are exempt from tuition fees.
