American Medical Association (AMA) Foundation Scholarship Program
The AMA Foundation Scholarship Program is a need-based scholarship that is awarded to medical students who demonstrate monetary need. The scholarships are presented for three hundred and sixty-five days and may be used to cover the cost of training, books, and different fees associated with your studies.
The Physicians of Tomorrow Scholarship program distributes $10,000 in tuition assistance scholarships to medical students approaching their final year of school. The AMA Foundation has had a long-standing tradition of supporting medical students. Since 1950, the Foundation has given awards of more than $61 million in scholarships to beneficiaries. The AMA Foundation has 12 scholarship categories and a variety of focus areas, including serving those underrepresented in medicine. It works to recognize a diverse cohort of medical students each year.
The Physicians of Tomorrow scholarships is open to all students, regardless of AMA membership status.
