Eligibility
This scholarship program is for Junior and senior students, beginners and professionals in the fields of Performing Arts, Dance and Choreography, Theatre directing, Movement directing, Acting, Film and video making, Circus performing, Arts management (administration) are eligible to apply for a scholarship.
Students and working professionals in any of these fields can be awarded a scholarship irrespective of their race, gender expression, ethnicity, religion or belief, and status. What is required is for applicants to show their potential for professional development and clear motivation to participate in performing arts training.

How to Apply
Interested students should submit a brief summary of the academic qualifications and professional background to the Scholarship Committee. Each student should submit an application form on the ArtUniverse website. The application form includes information on the student’s academic qualifications and accomplishments, career goals, financial needs, and reasons for selecting the candidate. While completing the application form you should make sure you select the direction and curriculum which you want to receive a scholarship for. For you to get financial aid you have to demonstrate efforts in personal fund-raising. Thus, the applicant should provide proof that he/she had previously tried to obtain funding from other sources (charitable foundations, non-profit organizations etc.) to participate in the training. The Committee may request additional information from you to complete its evaluation.
Deadline
Since this is an annual scholarship, ArtUniverse accepts applications on a regular basis. You are advised to apply early because the participation fee increases as the start dates of some educational programs approach.
ArtUniverse Scholarships are very competitive so you have to make sure you complete your application form correctly and according to instructions. The scholarship board assesses your professional background and achievements while considering your application. They also assess individual experience, qualifications, as well as professional skills, communication and creativity shown during the application process. During the selection process the scholarship board gives priority to those candidates who are able to show their reliability, the potential for professional development and clear motivation to participate in contemporary performing arts processes at the international level.
Application Types
ArtUniverse has two types of scholarships offered to interested persons. They are Full scholarship and Partial Scholarship.
Full Scholarship
The scholarship is offered based on the conditions that a student will be providing technical assistance during the course:
Such technical assistance may include preparing the room where the workshop is taking place, organizing catering, supply of water, helping with equipment, and other minor miscellaneous tasks.
A full scholarship holder must always fulfill these obligations:
You must always come to the training room reasonably in advance (at the appointed time and place),
You must attend all the classes included in the program,
You must provide all necessary technical assistance.
Partial Scholarship
The partial scholarship is awarded under the following conditions:
The applicant had applied for grants to cover the course to other foundations, non-profit and charitable organizations, and his/her application was rejected,
The applicant is currently in financial difficulty and can prove it,
The applicant undertakes to attend every session included in the program, from the start to the end,
The applicant agrees to pay for the course in full and get a reimbursement after the course ends,
The reimbursement is provided for the closing part of the course (depending on the duration).
Obligations to scholarship beneficiaries
Interested candidates have to fulfill the following obligations; As a partial scholarship holder you must:
Comply with the eligibility criteria for individual scholarship holders,
Confirm the acceptance of the scholarship in written form. If a candidate, who confirmed the acceptance of the scholarship, cancels his/her participation in the supported program, he/she may lose further eligibility for ArtUniverse support schemes in the future,
Be full-time available to attend the course or program for which he or she applied for a scholarship: from the first day to the project-end date,
Do their best to successfully complete the course or program for which the scholarship was granted,
Join your training at the given start date and before the registration deadline,
Pay all outstanding tuition fees by deadlines if you have not been awarded a full scholarship,
Maintain your living costs for the duration of your training,
Make satisfactory progress on your program,
Repay the scholarship amount if you withdraw from your course before completion,
Maintain professional behavior. Throughout the recipients’ training and professional career, they must abide by the legal, ethical and moral guidelines
